Frye managed the company for 40 years before giving the full control and legacy to his family. making the boots for the admiral, and the rest was history. The boots became the first choice of American
soldiers in the mission. Due to this, the Frye Boots became the official choice of the American Cavalry
during the World War II.
Aside from being the choice of the heroes that defend our land, many
great people had also worn these boots. An example is General Patton who personally chose the
Frye boots for himself. Due to its high quality and being part of the American history, the company re-launched
a famous boots line in the 1860’s and revealed it again the 60’s. Believe it or not, these re-released boots
became part of the boots fashion industry that wheeled up in the 60s and 70s; amongst it are the other Frye
Boots lines which are more modern and unique.
